ISC has partnered with UAHuntsville to combine Huntsville global resources with those from the broader international public and private sectors to offer a broad range of lively speakers to the public. This series of lectures by renowned experts in global issues brings a diversity of perspectives on international topics of interest to the Huntsville community.

Open to the general public, and designed to foster communications between policy-makers and citizens, this series will present information and opinions to provide the Huntsville community with the tools needed to understand the role of global affairs in Huntsville’s continuing growth as an international economic and cultural center. We welcome all to participate in these community-focused educational events.

President Dr. David Williams of the University of Alabama in Huntsville; Former ISC Executive Director Luba Cehelska; U.S. Congresssman Robert B. Aderholt (4th Congressional District, Alabama); and Dr. John R. Pottenger, Director of the Office of International Programs and Services at UAHuntsville, stand on stage after Congressman Aderholt’s presentation entitled "The Importance of International Relations in a Global Society," a program of the Global Perspectives Institute.
